Just we to the breast surgeon. She took off the bandages under Heather’s arm and breast. Everything looks good! She is cleared to go on vacation tomorrow! Nine days sailing in the BVI’s with no phones!! It will be just what we need!
Heather still has to take it easy, no lifting, limited movement in her right arm but she is free to lay there and tan!
So many of you have sent us verses that have inspired you. Keep it up! Heather has a book she is keeping with verses she has found as well as the ones you send us.

Praying for you Heather! My heart is heavy for you while you battle, but I know the Lord will give you strength. I loved this verse as we struggled through infertiltiy. It’s still the background on my phone! Hope you have a fab vacation!

One precaution on the tanning. Be careful of any areas that still have bruising as the sun can “lock” in those areas of discoloration. So use sunscreen on the scars/bruised areas
I don’t know if you know or not, Heather, but our sweet Barnes has had a long road of medical issues in his 15 months of life. The verse I always remember for him is Jeremiah 29:11- For I know the plans I have for you, thus says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Keep your gorgeous head up- you are covered in prayers in well wishes! Enjoy your vacation and know how very much you are loved!
Heather, You have been on my mind constantly and each time I pray for you! My life verse is Isaiah 26:3-4 “He will keep in perfect peace, him whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusts in Thee.
