I have always loved Thanksgiving but yesterday was extra special. I have so much to be thankful for this year. Most importantly I want to thank God who got me through this year and gave new meaning to my life. He surrounded me with loving friends and family who stood by my side every step of the way. He blessed me with a team of doctors who saved my life and a group of nurses who managed to make chemo a fun day for me. He created fighting fancy and I’ve done my best to keep up. Cancer blessed me with some new life long friends I may have never met otherwise. It has been the hardest year of my life that I wouldn’t trade for the world. So thank you Lord for getting me through this year stronger and CANCER FREE.

Now off to Stuttgart for some duck calling, chicken on a stick and Mack’s!!! Home sweet home!
