Oh what a day! I started my day with a breakfast which turned into lunch meeting with my friend Elizabeth. She just returned from Nebraska for a stem cell transplant. Whenever we get together we could talk forever about treatments, scars, bald heads, etc… There is something special about the relationships I have found with other cancer survivors that I can’t explain. I am part of a special group on facebook called cancer connection. Its a place where we can all talk about our fears, questions and concerns. And we all get it. I don’t feel so alone when I talk to them. Through this group I was able to send my first international bag. I have sent bags to Canada and the Netherlands and today I talked to sweet girl from Dublin who is now Fighting Fancy! Check out her blog.. http://thebigscarycword.wordpress.com/2013/01/20/radiotherapy-week-three/
Elizabeth was even wearing her Fighting Fancy necklace to our breakfast meeting!
Woke up to this Instagram pic from a fellow chemo girl fighting fancy!
What a great day!
xoxo,
heather
