Today was my three month check up with Dr. Wilder. My port, Ellen, is out of practice. She did not like that big needle. Even after the numbing cream, my port is still stinging.
An hour before my check up I have to numb my port so it won be as painful when I get the IV put it. People always stare at the plastic wrap coming out of my shirt and wonder what’s going on under there. So I thought I would share. Here is before the IV….

Well so I gained 5 pounds and I’m now anemic. Great. I’ve had better days at the doctor….. She also told me I need to take a month off of work, blogs and life basically. I don’t think she quite knows how impossible that is for me… But I will take her advice and go take a nap 
Sigh….

Oh, Heather…do i need to send Sherry B over to make you mind your doctor???? If she said take a month off, then will you please friggin’ DO IT!!!!!?!!!!! (hey, you know any friend of Sherry’s has to be somewhat bossy!)
