Today was such an exciting day! I have been waiting to announce this for weeks! Fighting Fancy is partnering with UAMS Rockefeller Cancer Institute to provide every female patient going through chemotherapy a Fighting Fancy bag. That is about 1000 bags a year. You heard me, a thousand! I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am about this partnership! To kick off our partnership we are having an event on June 20 called Rock the Runway. Mark your calendars! Little Rock Soiree is sponsoring the event so you know it will be great! My lovely co-chair, Allyson Pittman, is full of great ideas and is really going to make sure this is a special event Little Rock has never seen before!

We had a press conference today at the Cancer Institute. Dr. Westbrook opened us up and we heard from Allyson, her mother and cancer survivor, Stacy Sells, and my mentor and cancer survivor, Sherry Booles. I even managed to say a few words. It was a great day! Thanks to all of you who came out to support us!
