For those of you who don’t know, Heather had surgery this afternoon to remove a lump (Dr. said diameter of a dime) in her breast.  She found it a week or two ago and we had been to the doctor and it was determined this was the best and safest solution.

She went in today around noon and is out now and doing great!  Still a little loopy, even though she won’t admit it.  I spoke with the Dr. and she said the surgery went great and she was able to get it all removed.  She also said she was able to determine it was non-cancerous (we weren’t sure until now, b/c we opted out of the biopsy and they weren’t able to tell from the ultrasound).  We won’t know for sure what it was exactly until further tests are run on it, but the Dr gave me two things she thought it would be and of course I cannot pronounce either.  She didn’t seem to concerned with either, since she was able to remove the entire lump.

She never stops working….

She should be pain free by Wednesday, she just needs to lay off the weights until next week to keep swelling down.  She is supposed to be resting the rest of the day, but I am sure she will back to replying to texts here soon.  Just remember she will be drugged up today, so she might not be making too much sense

Heather I used to work with Mandy Osborne and I remember seeing pics of you and hearing so many great things about you and your friendship with Mandy. I just wanted to tell you that I will be praying for you and to Stay Strong. God is amazing and I know he is watching over you through this difficult time and will protect you.
